Media Chinese New Year Parade

The parade begins in front of Margaret Kuo’s Media and will continue up and down State Street eating the cabbage left out by business owners, and spitting them out for good luck! Philly’s premiere “Lion Dancers”  will perform the traditional Lion Dance, complete with elaborate costumes, drums, cymbals, and dancing!

This family-friendly event has professional and amateur bakers competing for prizes and bragging rights, while attendees sample their chocolate creations! Hundreds of chocolate treats, including cakes, brownies, candies, cookies, and cupcakes, will be available for attendees to taste at this festival benefiting the United Way of Southern Chester County. Magic in the Winter Garden: Nature Exploration for Kids
