DESCRIPTION:Prepare for an exhilarating evening of navigation under the stars at McKaig Nature Education Center at a nighttime orienteering event with starts available between 6:00 and 7:30 pm (full darkness after 6:45 pm). \nMcKaig is is 94.5-acre natural preserve in Wayne featuring unspoiled woods\, picturesque creeks\, and abundant wildlife\, providing the perfect backdrop for your navigation challenge. Whether you’re new to the sport or a seasoned pro\, we have a course for you. This event features Beginner\, Intermediate\, and Advanced courses\, designed to challenge all skill levels. Beginners are absolutely welcome. On-site instruction will be provided to get you comfortable with your map and compass. \nCourse Information: \n\nPlease ensure you bring a headlamp and/or a flashlight – navigating at night is part of the fun!\nMeet at the Old Roberts Schoolhouse\, located to the right of Roberts Elementary School.\nPlease wear closed-toe shoes and weather-appropriate attire.
