DESCRIPTION:Get ready to soar as Dreamwork’s How To Train Your Dragon Jr. flies onto the Upper Darby Summer Stage! This pilot production follows Hiccup\, a young viking\, who sets out on a journey with a unlikely friend\, Toothless\, only to learn there may be more to dragons than he ever assumed. How to Train Your Dragon reminds us that we can find friendship in the most unlikely places when we believe in the power of connection. \nDoors to the theater will open 30 minutes before the start of the show. The show will begin on time; please arrive at least 10-15 minutes prior to the performance to allow time for entry and seating. Please note there are multiple showtimes on Wednesday and Thursday. \nFree parking is available in the Upper Darby High School parking lot. Tickets may be exchanged up to 24 hours before scheduled performance\, but there will be no refunds.

Tickets for pick-your-own are available for purchase at Linvilla.com and you can indulge your sweet tooth with a variety of blueberry-licious treats from the Linvilla bakery. \nLove blueberry pie and a good competition? Join the pie eating contest. Two rounds will crown Linvilla Champions\, with ages 13-17 and ages 18 and up competing in a timed Blueberry Pie eating challenge. Winners in each category will receive a prize and\, most importantly\, bragging rights for life! Contest registration begins at 12:00 pm on the day of the festival (the first ten people to register will be accepted into each age category). \nThis event will be hosted by the one and only Silly Joe! George\, The Magician will be joining and performing his amazing Bubble Magic Show at 11:00 am. The Manatawney Creek Ramblers will takethe stage at 1:00 pm\, performing a beautiful mix of bluegrass and indie folk music! \nRain date: Sunday\, July 13\, 2025. Blueberry picking is open from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm\, and entertainment is on-site from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm.

SUMMARY:Saturday Wildflower Walk: Summer Edition (Adult and Teen Event) at Tyler Arboretum
DESCRIPTION:Join wildflower expert Dick Cloud on an informative two-hour hike through meadows\, woods\, and occasionally streamside. Although the focus is on plants\, he will talk about whatever the group might see! In July and August\, the hope is to see a large variety of summer wildflowers. All levels of knowledge are welcome. \nTo avoid the hottest part of the day\, the July and August walks are scheduled for 11:00 am–1:00 pm\, with two exceptions: July 19\, 1-3 pm and August 16\, 1-3 pm. \nNote that there may be some periods of moderately paced hiking\, so wear comfortable hiking shoes. Feel free to bring a camera and a wildflower guide\, such as Peterson’s Field Guide or Newcomb’s Wildflower Guide\, if you’d like\, and enjoy a botanical-filled walk. \nPre-registration for this event is required. Please check in first at the Visitor Center\, where you’ll meet your guide\, and please be on time. This event is rain or shine and is appropriate for adults (18+) and teens ages 12-17.
