This enthusiastic educator holds a Master of Arts in English Literature from Middlebury College’s Bread Loaf School via Oxford University (UK)\, and an undergraduate degree in English Literature magna cum laude from Barnard College/Columbia University. Carrie is a seasoned/former English teacher and writing center director with a particular passion for helping students gain confidence with the writing process. \nHundreds of students have benefitted from Carrie’s guidance. In this workshop she’ll give us an overview of the essay process\, advice on how to nail down a superior topic\, and guidelines to effectively develop a precise and eloquent essay.
