DESCRIPTION:Join Morgan Log House for a new Makerspace experience! \nTheir Kids’ Makerspace is a hands-on zone and free family event where children can enjoy an engaging story time and then complete a make-and-take project. From building simple machines to trying out recycled art projects\, it’s the perfect place for young minds to tinker\, invent\, and play. \nThis month\, children will spread the love by creating their own Valentine’s Day card using provided everyday materials. These cards will be ones that they can give to their parents\, friends\, and other loved ones.

DESCRIPTION:The African American Children’s Book Project will host one of the oldest and largest single-day gatherings of authors and illustrators of Black children’s books in the country. The African American Children’s Book Fair has put Philadelphia on the map as a literary destination for children’s books. \nAward-winning authors and illustrators will autograph and make presentations from their books. A wide selection of affordable Black children’s books\, preschool to young adult\, will be available for purchase. The event will also feature free promotional giveaways\, prizes\, and games.

If the weather cooperates\, the performance will take place in the rear parking lot so please come prepared to be outdoors. Should there be active precipitation\, the performance will be held indoors. The performance is expected to last roughly 15 minutes. \nRegistration strongly encouraged.
