SUMMARY:Longwood Gardens Festival of Fountains and Illuminated Fountain Performances
DESCRIPTION:Relax and unwind amid stunning summer vistas at Longwood Gardens this season. Experience their vibrant Illuminated Fountain Performances on Friday-Sunday nights from May through September. \nLongwood’s Main Fountain Garden puts on daily displays as their 1\,719 fountain jets are set to music and soar as high as 175 feet in the air. From May through August\, these shows take place on Mondays\, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 11:15 am\, 1:15 pm\, 3:15\, and 5:15 pm\, and on Fridays\, Saturdays and Sundays at 11:15 am\, 1:15 pm\, 3:15 pm\, 5:15 pm\, and 8:15 pm. \nOn Friday\, Saturday and Sunday nights at 9:15 pm\, those same fountains are illuminated for dazzling\, 30-minute displays of water\, music\, and color. Bringing your own chairs for this event is strongly recommended. While Longwood strongly recommends chairs\, blankets will be permitted in designated locations. Chairs may be placed beginning at 12:00 pm. \nJuly 5th’s performance is a tribute to Prince entitled When Lights Dance\, while July 6th’s Come as You Are show features 90’s hits from the likes of Nirvana\, the Cranberries\, and MC Hammer. \nThis event is free with Gardens admission. Timed admission tickets are required (timed reservations are required for Members after 3:00 pm Fridays–Sundays).

For those camping out\, there will be a special preview concert on Thursday night\, August 14th.

Chairs may be occupied in public spaces during a special event or before the start of a special event. Any chair(s) left unoccupied will be removed.

SUMMARY:Music at Marshall Free Concerts in West Chester
DESCRIPTION:The Music at Marshall summer concert series returns this year with four concerts\, beginning on June 19\, 2025. \n2025 Line-Up:\nJune 19 – Sin Brothers: A high-energy band that knows how to fill the park with songs you forgot you loved.\nJuly 10 – Big Boy Brass: Horn-driven funk and soul that’s guaranteed to get you moving.\nJuly 31 – Chico’s Vibe LLC: A premier event band bringing powerhouse vocals and nonstop party hits.\nAugust 21 – Butterfoot: A soulful\, feel-good group to close out the summer on a high note. \nEach concert begins at 6:30 PM at Marshall Square Park. There will also be plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained such as free face painting and balloon creations. A rotating lineup of local food trucks will bring the good eats (details coming soon). \nAdmission is always free\, and all are welcome. So pack a picnic\, grab your lawn chairs\, and settle in for a summer of music under the stars.
