Each week also features live music\, local artists\, and kids’ activities. \nWeekly market vendors include Beechwood Orchards\, Berry Patch Produce\, Kneehigh Farm\, Ironstone Farm\, Big Sky Bakery\, and Kismet Bagels. Davidson’s Mushrooms will not be at the market on June 21st\, but will return on June 28th. \nRotating vendors coming June 21st include Philly Waffles\, Traditional Greek\, Five Saints Distilling\, Market Day Canele\, A Seasoned Chef\, The Circle Kind Winery\, and 4ever Juices. Local Artists this weekend will be Useful & Beautiful and local musicians Kevin Schramm and Lizard Creek. The Community Tent will be representatives from Friends of Crum Creek. This weekend’s kids’ activity will be making Juneteenth Spin Drums and is presented by members of the Wesley AME Church. \nThe Swarthmore College OneCard is accepted at most vendor stands and PA FMNP vouchers are accepted for fresh fruits and vegetables.

Bringing your own chairs for this event is strongly recommended. While Longwood strongly recommends chairs\, blankets will be permitted in designated locations. Chairs may be placed beginning at 12:00 pm. \nJuly 5th’s performance is a tribute to Prince entitled When Lights Dance\, while July 6th’s Come as You Are show features 90’s hits from the likes of Nirvana\, the Cranberries\, and MC Hammer. \nThis event is free with Gardens admission. DESCRIPTION:Join wildflower expert Dick Cloud on an informative two-hour hike through meadows\, woods\, and occasionally streamside. Although the focus is on plants\, he will talk about whatever the group might see! In July and August\, the hope is to see a large variety of summer wildflowers. All levels of knowledge are welcome. \nTo avoid the hottest part of the day\, the July and August walks are scheduled for 11:00 am–1:00 pm\, with two exceptions: July 19\, 1-3 pm and August 16\, 1-3 pm. \nNote that there may be some periods of moderately paced hiking\, so wear comfortable hiking shoes. Feel free to bring a camera and a wildflower guide\, such as Peterson’s Field Guide or Newcomb’s Wildflower Guide\, if you’d like\, and enjoy a botanical-filled walk. \nPre-registration for this event is required. Please check in first at the Visitor Center\, where you’ll meet your guide\, and please be on time. This event is rain or shine and is appropriate for adults (18+) and teens ages 12-17.

SUMMARY:Rose Tree Summer Festival - Concerts in the Park
DESCRIPTION:The 2025 Rose Tree Summer Festival runs June 11 – August 10\, with evening concerts Wednesdays–Sundays on most weeks. \nFree concerts in Rose Tree Park’s scenic outdoor amphitheater have been a popular Delco tradition for more than four decades! Take in top-notch entertainment of all kinds\, from Classical to Cajun\, Motown to Broadway\, Doo Wop to Rock & Pop\, tribute shows and everything in between. \nCheck out the full 2025 concert schedule here. Showtime is 7:30 pm on Wednesday through Sunday evenings\, unless otherwise noted. \nThere will be two morning children’s shows this summer. On June 20th at 10:00 am\, Steve Pullara & His Cool Beans Band will excite and entertain young audiences with their interactive songs.  “The Plants” will also put on a kid-friendly show that all ages are sure to enjoy on July 3rd at 10:00 am. \nAttendees should bring blankets and chairs for seating. Admission and parking are free. Handicapped parking is available.
