DESCRIPTION:This fall\, join an exciting and educational pre-recorded show at WCU’s Mather Planetarium. \nDates and topics of these shows are: \nSeptember 12\, 2025: Black Holes: The Other Side of Infinity \nSeptember 19\, 2025: Astronaut \nOctober 17\, 2025: Asteroid: Mission Extreme \nOctober 24\, 2025: Oasis In Space \nNovember 14\, 2025: Black Holes: The Other Side of Infinity \nNovember 21\, 2025: To Space and Back \nThese astronomy-themed movies are specifically formatted for the planetarium dome\, providing an impressive and immersive experience. Each presentation consists of a live 25-minute overview of the current night sky followed by an educational and entertaining movie\, roughly 30 minutes in length. These presentations are given by West Chester University students. Parents with young children may find that these presentations hold their child’s attention better than the live shows. A short description of the movies can be found here . \nAll shows start promptly at 7:00 pm and run approximately one hour in length. Late arrivals will not be permitted to enter the planetarium so please allow adequate time for parking and walking to the planetarium. Doors open at 6:30pm. Shows are general seating. The cost of the show is $6 per person. Children under the age of 5 may sit on a parent’s lap for free. \nNo food or drink is allowed in the planetarium. \nThe planetarium is wheelchair accessible. This weekend’s kids’ activity will be making Juneteenth Spin Drums and is presented by members of the Wesley AME Church. \nThe Swarthmore College OneCard is accepted at most vendor stands and PA FMNP vouchers are accepted for fresh fruits and vegetables.

DESCRIPTION:Join Amy and Lance Isakov to celebrate the Autumn Equinox with Roksana Filipowska as they gather in sacred ceremony around the fire to hear the story of Persephone and Demeter and stand at the threshold of seasons. \nComing together to honor these moments in time allows us to anchor into a bigger rhythm that can peacefully hold all that is unfolding on the beautiful planet. Slow down and honor the seasons – inside and out! \nThis event will be held in Phoenixville at a private residence (location given upon registration). All participants should bring a refillable water bottle\, a special-to-you object (like a crystal\, photo\, ring\, etc) for the mesa (will return home with you)\, and a biodegradable offering (i.e. flowers\, seeds\, tobacco\, cornmeal\, etc.). \nIf you are able\, please wear Black and White. \nCost for this event is $30 solo or $25 each with a friend (use the coupon code BUDDY). No one turned away for financial reasons.

Families with small children are encouraged to review how to identify ripe apples before picking\, and Linvilla’s knowledgeable staff will be available to provide guidance if needed. \nGuests are reminded to dress comfortably\, stay hydrated\, and follow all posted signs and staff instructions while visiting. Pick-Your-Own is open daily from 8 am – 4 pm\, and timed tickets are required during peak season. \nTickets can be reserved online at Linvilla.com.
