DESCRIPTION:Unleash your inner explorer and join the McKaig “Search for the Pot o’ Gold.” Families and friends are invited to embark on a treasure hunt adventure on Saturday\, March 14th\, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. \nThe mischievous McKaig Leprechaun has hidden his treasure! Follow St. Patrick’s footsteps using your emailed treasure map (with instructions!) to discover the pot o’ gold hidden somewhere in the woods. The hunt will take about 45 minutes\, and when you find the pot\, you’ll receive some “gold” coins of your own. After your successful quest\, gather around a roaring bonfire for classic s’mores and share your discoveries with fellow adventurers. \nMcKaig members can join the fun for just $24 per group of 4\, while non-members can participate for $28 per group. Don’t miss this exciting and treasure-filled evening! \n\nRegister here – each registration is for 4 s’mores and kids receive McKaig “Gold.” Plan to bring a flashlight unless you’re in for more of a challenge\, and something to sit on. Additional s’mores kits and water bottles available. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear\, the event is rain or shine. \nThere will be a bonfire or 2 in a fire container at the event. McKaig will provide roasting sticks and s’more kits along with wet wipes. Park in the Roberts Elementary School Parking Lot.

SUMMARY:The Great Narberth Leprechaun Hunt
DESCRIPTION:​Since 2008\, the Narberth Business Association has been hosting  this popular scavenger hunt\, where children get their own day to celebrate and “wear the green” on the Saturday before St Patrick’s Day. \nKids start by going to the “Blarney” Booth at the corner of Haverford and Forrest Aves. to get a game card with clues and an empty black plastic pot-o’-gold.  They search all through the town\, with parents in tow\,  to find hidden leprechauns in various shops and restaurants.  When they find one\, they get a “gold” coin to put in their pot. Once they’ve found all the leprechauns and have all the coins\, the kids return to the NBA booth for their prize. \nThis is a free\, family event brought to you by the Narberth Business Association and its members.

DESCRIPTION:Join SHIFT Sustainable Goods for a dyeing adventure during Narberth’s Lebrechaun Hunt\, where little artists and color lovers will explore the magic of natural potion making! Using plants\, flowers\, and other nature-based ingredients\, unlock the enchanted hues of the rainbow – just like the leprechauns love! \nEach participant will get to choose a dye-able item as their canvas: a “Rainbow Twist” Scrunchie or “Magic Mist” Bandana. Participants will then mix\, dip\, and transform it with natural pigments. Through hands-on experiments\, young artists will learn the natural alchemy behind each shade and create a one-of-a-kind lucky charm to take home. Follow the rainbow\, and you just might discover a pot of gold hidden in the colors you create! \nThe $10 fee (per child) will be collected on site and includes: \n\nguided instruction\nnatural dyes\none item to dye (scrunchie or bandana)\na “take home” treasure pot\n\nDye Kits will also be available to purchase. \nRegistration: Reserve your space in advance to guarantee materials. Each parent/guardian should use one checkout link to reserve space for all children in their group. DESCRIPTION:The Borough of Conshohocken is excited to host the 13th annual Conshy 5K Classic and 20th annual Conshohocken St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday\, March 14. These family-friendly St. Patrick’s Day festivities take place on Fayette Street\, Conshohocken’s main corridor\, between Elm Street and 11th Avenue. Drawing visitors from across Montgomery County and the Philadelphia area\, the yearly events feature green-clad runners\, best costume contest\, lively floats\, traditional Irish dance\, live musical performances and themed refreshments. \nStarting at 12:30pm\, the 5K race helps raise funds for the Conshohocken Fire Company #2\, equipping its firefighting volunteers. Registration and packet pickup will take place at Conshohocken Fire Co #2 (819 Fayette St) on race day beginning at 11am. Registration for the 5K costs $37 (price increases after March 13). \nThe 20th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade takes place from 2-5pm\, and many visitors continue celebrating local restaurants and pubs on Fayette Street and in the surrounding neighborhood.
