The festival features live entertainment throughout the day\, community organizations and small businesses\, local artists and makers\, food vendors\, and activities for all ages.With more than 170 vendors\, PrideFest is both a celebration and a resource hub—highlighting LGBTQIA+-affirming services\, advocacy groups\, and inclusive businesses that strengthen our community year-round.PrideFest has always been about more than a single day. It’s about gathering in public\, standing proudly together\, and continuing a long tradition of visibility that has helped our community survive\, grow\, and move forward—again and again. They will be joined by other notable LGBTQ+ authors: Katherine Locke\, Mia Siegert\, Vincent Tirado\, and Alex Villasante. \nLeviathan and Duckels’ new book\, THE FIGHT OF OUR LIVES\, presents a powerful cultural history of the AIDS epidemic written for teens and young adults. Threaded throughout are first-person interviews and narratives\, as well as poems\, essays\, and other creative works. \nFree Mom Hugs\, a national nonprofit that supports the LGBTQ+ community\, will also be present to share how they make a difference\, and also to share hugs.
