Each participant will have the opportunity to dye their own Haunted Hues Scarf or Chilling Charm Scrunchie using the natural magical dyes they’ve prepared. \nThis workshop is perfect for kids ages 4-12 who are curious about nature\, crafts\, and a touch of magic. No previous dyeing experience is needed—just a love for creativity and a bit of imagination! \nThe $10 fee (per child) will be collected on site and includes: \n\nguided instruction\nnatural dyes\none item to dye (scarf or scrunchie)\na “take home” cauldron\n\nDye Kits will also be available to purchase for those who would rather complete a similar activity at home. \nRegistration\nReserve your space in advance to guarantee materials. Each parent/guardian should use one checkout link to reserve space for all children in their group. This will include reimagined versions of 3 popular activities – Halloween-ified: potions\, Wizarding Mafia and Anticipation Activity. \nIn Wizarding Mafia\, get ready for the spookiest/funniest Mafia yet\, at this story-telling elimination style game. The night’s Anticipation Activity will be level 3 only (scariest of the 3 levels)! Anticipation is a combination of 2 magical subjects\, Applied Magical Defense and Magical Creatures. They come together to form an activity that is similar to a haunted house-like experience. \nWhether you are a new or returning student\, be prepared for Magical Mayhem. \nWhen planning for the evening add additional time to the beginning and end for drop off and pick up. The event itself starts at 5:30pm with a staggered arrival and departure to ensure the 5:30 to 8pm timeframe is all magic and fun. Drop off will start at approximately 5:05 pm. There is no dinner served\, so please eat prior to drop off. \nAttire: robes and costumes are encouraged but not required!

DESCRIPTION:History is always better told by lantern light and with a chill in the air. Join one of Historic Sugartown’s knowledgeable guides as they lead you through the village by lantern. Along with Sugartown’s rich history\, you’ll learn about the strange world of death and mourning in Victorian America. \nTours last approximately 1 hour. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your tour so that it can leave on time. \nBecause of the historic nature of the property\, there is limited wheelchair accessibility in some of the buildings and some difficult terrain. Please contact us with any questions about accessibility. Tours take place rain or shine. \nThe lantern tours will leave from the Carriage Museum approximately every half hour from 6:00 to 8:00 pm\, and will last approximately one hour. Pre-registration is preferred—space is limited. \nWhile you wait for your tour to begin\, have your ghostly portrait taken in the Worrall Barn Ruin! Photos will be on display in the Carriage Museum following the end of the tour. \nAdmission: $15 for adults\, $10 for children ages 6 – 17.
