Through personal stories\, coping tools\, accessible techniques like therapy\, sports\, and music\, and the support of others\, the program emphasizes that everyone has a story and everyone has the ability to strengthen their mental well-being. DESCRIPTION:Chadds Ford Elementary School will host its 77th Annual Art Show and Sale affording patrons an opportunity to purchase art\, jewelry\, wooden items\, glass designs\, and more directly from more than 70 local and regional artists. Admission is free and open to all ages. An updated list of artists can be found here. \nDonated art will be available for an in-person raffle at the event as well as an online auction. Auction links and information will be available on the event’s website within one week of the event. \nNew this year: Due to the growing interest in artisan work\, the show is introducing an Artisan Market- two rooms that will showcase pottery\, sculpture\, jewelry\, woodworking\, and other handmade wares. \nPatrons should note that each artist will control their own payment process. While some artists may offer various payment options\, such as credit card\, Venmo\, or Apple Pay\, all artists will accept cash or personal checks. \nAbout the Annual Chadds Ford Art Show and Sale\nEstablished in 1949 by Betsy Wyeth\, spouse of renowned artist Andrew Wyeth\, while their sons Jamie and Nicholas attended Chadds Ford Elementary\, the Art Show has become the institution’s largest annual fundraiser.
