Inside Longwood’s historic Ballroom\, it’s a glittering celebration of community spirit as eight trees are lovingly dressed in gold and glittering ornaments crafted by local art centers. \nOutside\, more than half-a-million enchanting lights guide guests throughout the Gardens\, past decorated trees\, illuminated displays and other holiday treasures. Gather for fountain shows in the Open Air Theatre\, where 750 jets dance to holiday favorites throughout the day and evening. There will be multiple locations and race options to challenge the whole family\, including a virtual race for those who are out of town or shudder at the idea of waking up early! \nThe Gobble Wobble 5k tkaes place at four in-persona race locations across the region – Abington\, Haverford\, Royersford\, and the Philadelphia Navy Yard. The event takes place on Thanksgiving Day\, with the run kicking off at 8:30 am. \n\n5K race options are chip timed on closed race courses\nRegistration includes a custom t-shirt which is sure to become your new cold day running shirt\nThis is a family-friendly event with a walk option that is stroller friendly\nProceeds support local families through the Y’s financial assistance program\n\nSame day registrations will be available with a slight fee increase; card or electronic payments only.
