DESCRIPTION:Join the fourth annual Oktoberfest in Downtown West Chester on Saturday\, September 27th! \nParticipating locations will have a select list of $6 fall beers or ciders and fall-themed appetizers. No tickets are needed\, simply show up at one (or multiple) of the participating locations and ask for the Oktoberfest specials. There will be live music around town for you to enjoy as you walk to and from each restaurant. If you have any Oktoberfest outfits/accessories\, now is the time to wear them! \nOktoberfest isn’t just for the grown-ups! Bring the whole family and let the kids join in on the fun. The Painted Plate (104 Market Street) will be hosting free mini pumpkin painting from 12:00 – 2:00 pm\, where kids can create their own festive fall masterpiece. \nRAIN OR SHINE: Enjoy food and drink specials indoors or outdoors at participating locations. \nThe Oktoberfest specials will be available during each location’s open hours\, as they vary.

DESCRIPTION:For 16 years and counting\, Veteran’s Brotherhood has continued the tradition of bringing local and regional communities together for this FREE EVENT to support local veterans in need of immediate assistance. They will be asking for donations during the day so this can continue to be a no-cost event! Lawn-chairs and blankets are encouraged. \nFor the first time\, the event will feature extended hours until 8:00 pm! Enjoy seven live local acts including blues Queen Deb Callahan\, Harmonica master Mikey Junior\, Gypsy Joe Alves and the Groove Prophets – and for the first time\, three great tribute bands like Zendog (Grateful Dead)\, back by popular demand\, Swiftie & the Midnights (Taylor Swift) and the Headliner Band\, Forever Tina (Tina Turner) who will totally amaze you with a show you’ll swear is the real deal from 6:30-8:00 pm. \nPlease come to enjoy amazing live music\, great food\, a large beer and wine garden\, and Bourbon tastings offered by Pennsylvania Distilleries. Meet lots of your local friends and neighbors and\, as always\, there’s lots for the kids to enjoy including a 40’ inflatable rock-climbing wall and slide\, face painting\, wonderful balloon figures\, and a full playground!
