SUMMARY:Aston Township Community Day and Musical Instrument Petting Zoo
DESCRIPTION:Come to the Aston Township Community Day at the Aston Community Center. \n\nParade: Community Day begins with a parade from Neumann University (Neumann Drive) starting at 9:00 am (check-in at 8:00 am). The parade will proceed along Concord Road to the Aston Township Community Center. The parade will feature local community groups and organizations\, as well as musical entertainment. \nBike Decorating and Safety Rodeo: Kids in three age groups\, 0 to 3\, 4 to 7 and 8 to 12\, can participate in the parade by decorating their bikes\, wagons and strollers and riding along the parade route for all to see. Participants should use their creative powers to decorate their “ride” to the theme. Prizes will be awarded for the best decorations in each age group. There will also be a Bike Safety Rodeo prior to the parade which includes a Bicycle Safety Inspection; Bicycle Safety Talk; Obstacle Course; Goody Bags! Bike will join the parade from Big Lots to the Community Center. \nExpo: Inside the community center\, the Annual Business Expo will be held for all Aston businesses and organizations interested in displaying their products and services. Other community festivities will be held outside including free rides sponsored by Bette’s Bounces\, games\, food\, drinks and contests for everyone to enjoy. \n\n\nThe day will also feature a free\, FUN & interactive Musical Instrument Petting Zoo (often referred to as a Please Touch Museum for musical instruments).  This exhibit features acoustic/electric guitars\, ukuleles\, keyboards and dozens of different types of percussion instruments for kids of all ages to explore & have fun with!

DESCRIPTION:Join St. David’s Church for their 174th Annual Country Fair\, always held on the first Saturday in October at the St. David’s Fairgrounds. \nThis event is the longest\, continuously running church fair in the USA. Held annually on the first Saturday in October\, the Fair is full of thrifted deals\, games\, food\, fall activities\, and more! Enjoy music by 3RowBack and be sure to stop by the St. David’s booth for pet blessings from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. \nEach year 100% of the Fair’s proceeds are donated to over 20 deserving Delaware Valley and Philadelphia organizations\, as well as international partners in Cuba\, Guatemala\, and Uganda. Join the over 3\,500 visitors drawn annually to the St. David’s Church Country Fair and become part of this enjoyable and worthwhile community event. All are welcome! \nThe admission fee is $5 per person\, with a maximum of $20 per household. Veterans and volunteers are free. Please purchase your wristband at either of the entrances. Midway wristbands for the kids are $10 for unlimited activities\, or you may pay per ticket. Free parking is available in the church lots and the large field on the corner of Church Road and South Valley Forge Road. Access to field parking is from the Church Road side. Overflow parking will be available at the Devon Horse Show fairgrounds. Please use the main gravel lot. There will be two buses going back and forth from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm to pick up and drop off volunteers and attendees.

DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, October 5th\, from 1–4 pm\, join Radnor friends and neighbors for the 13th Annual Fall Harvest & Great Pumpkin Patch at Willows Park. This event is for Radnor Township families\, is free to enter\, and features free and nominally priced activities\, food and refreshments. \nSpend the day enjoying a variety of fall themed activities including tractor rides\, gem mining\, pumpkin picking\, a mechanical bull\, balloon twisters\, Kona Ice\, food & refreshments at an additional cost\, music/entertainment\, and much more. \nRadnor Township families can receive a free\, large pumpkin while supplies last. You must be pre-registered to receive a large pumpkin on the event day. Only one large pumpkin per family is permitted. Pick up your large pumpkin anytime between 1:00 and 3:00 pm at the Large Pumpkin Patch. After 3:00 pm\, any pumpkins that are not claimed will be released on a first-come\, first-serve basis. Small and Medium pumpkins do not require advance registration\, but they are available only while supplies last. One small/medium pumpkin per person. \n
