DESCRIPTION:The Borough of Conshohocken is excited to host the 13th annual Conshy 5K Classic and 20th annual Conshohocken St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday\, March 14. These family-friendly St. Patrick’s Day festivities take place on Fayette Street\, Conshohocken’s main corridor\, between Elm Street and 11th Avenue. Drawing visitors from across Montgomery County and the Philadelphia area\, the yearly events feature green-clad runners\, best costume contest\, lively floats\, traditional Irish dance\, live musical performances and themed refreshments. \nStarting at 12:30pm\, the 5K race helps raise funds for the Conshohocken Fire Company #2\, equipping its firefighting volunteers. Registration and packet pickup will take place at Conshohocken Fire Co #2 (819 Fayette St) on race day beginning at 11am. Registration for the 5K costs $37 (price increases after March 13). \nThe 20th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade takes place from 2-5pm\, and many visitors continue celebrating local restaurants and pubs on Fayette Street and in the surrounding neighborhood.

DESCRIPTION:​Since 2008\, the Narberth Business Association has been hosting  this popular scavenger hunt\, where children get their own day to celebrate and “wear the green” on the Saturday before St Patrick’s Day. \nKids start by going to the “Blarney” Booth at the corner of Haverford and Forrest Aves. to get a game card with clues and an empty black plastic pot-o’-gold.  They search all through the town\, with parents in tow\,  to find hidden leprechauns in various shops and restaurants.  When they find one\, they get a “gold” coin to put in their pot. Once they’ve found all the leprechauns and have all the coins\, the kids return to the NBA booth for their prize. \nThis is a free\, family event brought to you by the Narberth Business Association and its members.
