The derby is divided into age groups: 7 & under\, 8 to 11\, 12 to 16\, and 17 & over. \nThe family fishing derby offers a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere where every child gets a chance to participate. Orchard Lake will be stocked with over 1\,000 Rainbow\, Brooks\, Golden and Brown trout. Numerous trophies are awarded throughout the day in various categories. The lucky anglers who catch the first trout in their age group\, will receive a special trophy. Plus\, there are tagged fish which can be caught to win additional trophies and other great prizes. Each angler is allowed to keep one fish\, and any additional trout over 2 lbs cost $16.99\, while those under 2 lbs cost $6.99. \nBring your own rod or rent one – no license is needed to participate. Fabric scraps\, yarn remnants\, and other found fibers become the building blocks for your own small woven tapestry—proof that sustainability and creativity can go hand in hand. \nThis workshop is perfect for beginners and curious makers alike.
