Wayne Art Center’s 17th Annual Plein Air Festival Begins

Wayne Art Center is excited to announce the 17th Annual Plein Air Festival, one of the longest running and most popular outdoor painting events in the country. The multi-day competition will begin on Sunday, May 4th with 32 talented artists from 29 states painting within 30 miles of Wayne.
On Saturday, May 10th, the week culminates with an elegant evening of live jazz, cocktails, and savory hors d’oeuvres to celebrate the artists and the completion of the competition week. Tickets to this event may be purchased at https://waynepleinair.org/home/tickets/.
More than 300 breathtaking works painted during Plein Air week will be on display from May 11th-June 21st in the Davenport, Ethel Sergeant Clark Smith and Vidinghoff Lobby Galleries. Gallery hours are: 9am-5pm Monday through Friday and 9am-4pm on Saturday. Join us Mother’s Day, May 11th for special Sunday gallery hours from 11am-1pm with Mini Paintings & Mimosas for Mom!
