Make art and make friends in the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts’ (PAFA) virtual after-school program for kids 6–9, which runs on Tuesdays, Oct. 25–Nov. 22 (5 sessions). Virtual Art Club provides artistic adventures in small groups in a safe virtual environment with highly skilled instructors. The club meets weekly during after-school hours. Activities include exploration of the museum collection, experimentation with different art materials and techniques including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, comics, and mixed-media projects. Build artistic skills and expand your creativity from the comfort of home in a secure, designated Zoom Room. Most materials needed for activities can be found at home or purchased at an affordable price. Club sessions run for 5 weeks, and each week is dedicated to a theme or unique project. All sessions are recorded, so if you miss one, you can watch it later! The activities are geared towards kids ages 6-9. If you are interested in signing up a slightly older child you may do so at your discretion. Register here. Please feel free to contact PAFA if you have any questions.
