Carmi, a therapy dog from Therapy Dogs International will be at the Penn Wynne library to listen to beginner, and shy readers who want to practice reading a book of their choice. Children read aloud to therapy dogs to improve reading and communication skills in a setting where they can feel comfortable and confident. This is also an ideal opportunity for English language learners. For grades K+. Registration required. Please note, this is not a tutoring session.
