Star Spangled Celebration in Collegeville
Bring the whole family out to Providence Town Center in Collegeville for some red, white, and blue fun.
Learn about the country’s flag and its history. Several local military veteran, historic and civic organizations will be on hand to educate and share information about flags and ensigns of the Revolutionary Militias, Privateers, the Continental Army, and the Navy.
Wear your red, white and blue and bring the kids! Enjoy 5-minute Pop Up Talks on Flag etiquette, the history of flags in America, and Symbols of the Revolutionary War period. Keeping everyone entertained, there will be kids’ crafts to make and take home, face painting, a balloon twister, music, and games.
The Town Center will offer free giveaways for the kids, including flags, coloring books, and lots of patriotic swag. P.F.Chang’s, Harvest Seasonal Grill, Ember + Ale, and Honeygrow will offer food sampling and refreshments.
