The Museum of the American Revolution will have daily programming happening for two weeks, including special hours for their family-friendly discovery center, beginning Saturday, April 9 – Sunday, April 24. Highlights include Revolution Place, the Museum’s replica of a lively, diverse Old City neighborhood of the 1700’s and Stories on Deck, the Museum’s replica privateer ship you can climb aboard and hear stories about what life was like at sea during the Revolutionary War. Special daily activities include crafts, discovery carts, and activities for all ages. During the week of April 19 – 24, the Museum will celebrate the its fifth anniversary, which coincides with the anniversary of the “shot heard ‘round the world” that ignited the Revolutionary War on April 19, 1775. Activities that week include a naturalization ceremony, selfie station, special programs, and giveaways.
