Saturday Wildflower Walk – Spring Explorations
March 5, 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Join wildflower expert Dick Cloud on an informative two-hour hike that will take you through Tyler Arboretum’s spring scenes of meadows, woods, and occasionally streamside. Some of the destinations include the North Woods, Indian Rock on the Blue Trail, Dismal Valley on the Orange Trail, Dogwood Circle on the Red Trail, and the Shade Tree Nursery, which is on the White Trail. Hike will focus on the newness of spring as green begins to carpet the Arboretum. Join this hike in search of newly emerging spring ephemerals and watch springtime buds swell as we hear the chorus of frogs and birds in the warming spring days.
