Read Across America at Elmwood Park Zoo

The annual celebration that focuses on the joys of reading returns Saturday, Feb. 26, from 12 pm – 2 pm! Read Across America is a nationally-celebrated event that aims to motivate reading among children of all ages. In addition to a selection of books available for purchase in the Book Fair, this year’s event festivities also include an animal greet and presentations by local authors including Philly journalist Janet Zappala reading her book, “Guapo’s Giant Heart”, Lorene Cary reading her book, “The Price of a Child”, and Tre Hadrick, reading his book, “Cheesesteaks and Clippers”.
