Light: Installations by Bruce Munro at Longwood Gardens

Experience the dazzling artistry and infinite imagination of artist Bruce Munro in the splendor of Longwood Gardens. Before dusk, explore gardens awash in brilliant blooms and enjoy live music in the Beer Garden. As darkness falls and Light’s eight installations—some with sound, some static, and all beautiful—begin to come on throughout the indoor spaces and outdoor vistas, experience, Light at your own pace and in any order. Highlights include the breathtaking Field of Light with 18,000 illuminated bulbs stretching across the Large and Small Lake landscape and pulses, the streams of light and sound with SOS in the Orchard and the immersive sensory environment C-scales in the Exhibition Hall. And of course there’s the evening’s Illuminated Fountain Performance. There’s even more fun to be had afterward, as we remain open—and Light remains on view—until 11:00 pm. Timed admission tickets required.
