Launching Women Into Science and Tech: Dr. Mae Jemison

On Friday, July 21, Academy of Notre Dame is hosting Dr. Mae Jemison, the first African-American woman in space aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavor, and the Founder and President of the medical technology companies the Jemison Group and BioSentient Corp.
Dr. Jemison will give the keynote talk as the culmination of our International Sisters in STEM Symposium, a weeklong program that will educate, empower, and inspire young women at Notre Dame and our sister schools from around the world to solve issues that transcend borders.
