Heirloom Apple Tasting & Baking Contest

Join friends and neighbors at Harriton’s annual Heirloom Apple Tasting & Baking Contest on Saturday October 26th, at 2 p.m. The program begins with a brief introduction to this year’s selection followed by the opportunity to sample heirloom apple varieties gathered from around the region. Apples are also available for purchase by the pound while supplies last.
This year they’re pleased to announce that the King Arthur Baking Company has donated prizes for first, second, and third place, in two classes: Adult and Youth! Follow this link to enter a sweet or savory apple-based baked good in the contest. Drop-off entries between 10 am and noon on Saturday, October 26th. No late entries allowed so that the judges have time to deliberate before the event.
