Gladwyne Library is hosting an interactive and engaging Black History Month Program. In this program, the library will be exploring the life of Augustus Jackson, the Philadelphian who revolutionized the process of making ice cream, and making some ice cream as well! Dr. Mae Jemison, the first black, female astronaut will also be discussed and you’ll try some simple experiments to discover her field of study. This program is for ages 6-11. Space is limited to 10 children. Masks and registration are required. See event link.
