Early Evening Owl Prowl
March 4, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
For adults 18+ and youth ages 15–17. Join Tyler Arboretum staff who will be hiking out with a guide to see owls in the Pinetum and some areas outside the deer exclusion fence. They’ll be on the lookout for Great Horned, Screech, and Barred Owls. Less likely but always possible are Saw-whet and Long-eared owls. If the sky cooperates, hiker will be treated to a nearly full moon. Listening to owls calling under the light of the moon is an experience not to be missed! Pre-registration required. Registration closes by 8 am the day of the event, so be sure to register on time. Visit the website for cost and more information.
