Get motivated to start your pesky college essay and learn more about what factually contributes to a powerful personal statement.
Join Tredyffrin Public Library for a free presentation with award-winning tutor and writing specialist Carrie Waldron-Brown, MA. This enthusiastic educator holds a Master of Arts in English Literature from Middlebury Collegeās Bread Loaf School via Oxford University (UK), and an undergraduate degree in English Literature magna cum laude from Barnard College/Columbia University.
In this workshop Carrie will give an overview of the essay process, advice on how to nail down a superior topic, and guidelines to effectively develop a precise and eloquent essay. Also, Carrie covers āpro tipsā to magnify your “WOW” factor, helping your essay radiantly stand out for admissions officers.
Parents and students are welcomed to attend; the presentation will end with time for a Q&A, so bring your questions–or send them in advance with your email registration request.
