An Evening With Children’s Book Author, Brian Selznick

When Brian Selznick comes to town, it’s BIG! Children’s Book World presents Caldecott award-winning author and illustrator Brian Selznick and his new book BIG TREE on Tuesday, April 18th at 7 p.m. at Friends’ Central School’s Shallcross Hall. Known for his exciting, multi-media presentations, Brian will share his artistic and literary journey writing the new book, Big Tree, for ages 7 and up. BIG TREE has been described as a love letter to the natural world and follows two tiny sycamore seeds, Louisa and Merwin as they try to save the world while searching for a safe place to grow. The book is an exciting read for any age reader and will especially appeal to those who love nature, science, and the environment.
