Join Miss Libby for a literacy and movement experience at the Middletown Free Library on Mondays in August, from 1:45 pm to 2:15 pm. You will read some picture books about dance and learn some classical and contemporary dance terminology. Activities vary but can include rhythm, balance, and movement activities, coordination challenges, stretching, improvisation, props, and more. Wear your socks, ballet slippers, or sneakers, and some clothes you can dance in! Ballet costume/attire is not required, but is definitely welcome. Class will be held in the Roosevelt Community Center. See the MFL Library Circulation Desk for the exact classroom location. Registration is required as space is limited. All genders welcome! Best for ages 3–6, but siblings welcome.
