Jenkins Arboretum is hosting a free online lecture by Dr. Kuhn of Discover Life in America (DLiA) to explore the many bioluminescent organisms that live in the Great Smoky Mountains, including the park’s famous fireflies. Learn about threats facing fireflies and what you can do to help fireflies in your own backyard. Discover Life in America (DLiA) is a non-profit partner of Great Smoky Mountains National Park that manages a massive inventory of the park’s rich biodiversity.
