Where to Enjoy Ardmore Restaurant Week With Kids

Deals at Ardmore restaurants run from July 15--28! Here's where to go with your family.

Ardmore Restaurant Week is coming up July 15—28, offering two-course lunches for $10 or $15, and three-course dinners for $15, $25, or $35. Restaurant Week is always a great opportunity to try something new on the cheaper side, but if you begin to factor in paying a babysitter, suddenly that discounted prix fixe becomes less…well, discounted.  Luckily there are some great casual options, as well as those that welcome kids, but still give you a special meal out. To sweeten the deal, parking is free after 6 pm and on Sundays during Restaurant Week. Here are our top picks for enjoying Ardmore Restaurant Week as a family.

59 W. Lancaster Ave.

We love this Hawaiian-inspired casual joint, and their Restaurant Week menu gives diners a lot of freedom (great for picky eaters) in providing one customized bowl for $10 lunch and two customized bowls for $25 dinner—you pick the rice, protein, sauce, and unlimited toppings! The meal also starts with freshly made tortilla chips, so what’s not to like?

Not Your Average Joe’s

49 Saint James Place

This spot is always a family favorite! Offering $15 lunch and $35 dinner, there are plenty of yummy choices.

Delice et Chocolat

 9 E Lancaster Ave.

You may recall this charming cafe from the cover of our 2019 Best For Families Guide! We LOVE their food and can’t resist their macarons! And while dessert is not on the Restaurant Week menu, after a $10 lunch you can safely spring for a fabulous pastry and call it a win. Note: This restaurant is not open on Mondays, so plan accordingly.

105 Coulter Ave.

You’ll love the upscale Mexican vibe, and getting a deal means you don’t have to feel bad about adding on a signature margarita or two. Your kids will love the churros for dessert, with the little worry dolls as a fun surprise when the check comes. And everyone will love the side of elotes, so definitely go for that! Go for lunch, when $15 gets you two courses! Plus, while this place is on the nicer side, they’re surprisingly welcoming and even have highchairs.

Buena Vista

31 E. Lancaster Ave.

Another great Mexican spot (though much more laidback), Buena Vista is a crazy bargain, offering $10 lunch and $15 dinner with plenty of tasty choices for each. You can gobble up all the mini nachos with abandon, and then leave with a full belly and a full wallet. Bonus: they even hand-painted high chairs!

54 E. Lancaster Ave.

Marokko brings much-anticipated Moroccan cuisine to Lancaster Avenue. $35 gets you three courses—we recommend a tajine for kids—ending with sweet baklava. Go on the early side, and try to get a table on the patio!

Iron Hill Brewery

60 Greenfield Ave.

Another place that constantly shows up as a family favorite in Main Line Parent Community, Iron Hill is offering $15 lunch (or $35 dinner), and has a relaxed vibe, high chairs, and an extensive selection of beer for the grownups!

Ardmore Restaurant week begins July 15 and runs through July 28. And new for this year, it all kicks off on July 14 with a fabulous Bastille Day Block Party! View all the restaurant offerings and detailed menus, and make reservations at www.ArdmoreRestaurantWeek.com.
