Main Line Parent Mingles – Social Events
If there’s one thing we love about being parents, it’s the camaraderie that we’ve seen at our Mingle events. We’re putting monthly Mingle opportunities – mid-morning coffee breaks and nights out – on our calendar, and we’d love to see you there!
We keep these gatherings intimate (about 30 parents) to encourage everyone to get to know one another.
Interested in hosting one in your neighborhood or business to help build community? Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org!
Want to join us at our next event? Stay tuned here and on the events calendar for upcoming fun!
October 19 at HomeCooked, Paoli: Favorite Things Party, Take 2- “Foodies”
Our first Favorite Things Party was such a hit that we’re bringing it back again, this time with HomeCooked in Paoli. New twist- each guest brings their favorite small kitchen gadget or pantry item! We do a “Yankee Swap” style exchange of the wrapped items, and everyone takes home someone else’s favorite thing. When your favorite thing to do is hang with friends and meet new ones this party is a home run! HomeCooked will be providing snacks and samples for all guests, and guests are welcome to BYOB. Register now!

November 7 Sponsored by Westtown School, at Malvern Buttery: Main Line Parent has partnered with Westtown School to bring our readers a morning workshop at the Malvern Buttery. Join us for coffee, light snacks and conversation with Kristin Trueblood, Lower School principal at Westtown School. Kristin has over 25 years of classroom experience and a Masters in Independent School Leadership. She will talk about the different issues facing parents today and share tools to keep our children close while allowing them to grow and gain confidence. This is open to all and registration is required.
November 29 Main Line Parent Favorite Things Party- Cookie Recipes, Ardmore: I mean, the title says it all, right? The Main Line Parent Community has asked us for a Cookie Swap party before but after giving food allergies/intolerances and picky eaters a lot of consideration we decided it would be just as fun to get together and share the recipes for our favorite treats as it would be to bake for hours and hours and take home food we may or may not be able to consume! We’ll be partying it up at The Hive which is a co-working space in Ardmore, and we’ll have some munchies. Guests can BYO. Registration will open in early November so save the date!
