Ivory Tree Portraits: Strengthening the Family Connection

The owner of a new family portrait studio in Wayne talks about the evolution of her business.

We have loved being part of the growth of each and every family we have worked with over the last six years. Since I purchased the photography studio 18 months ago, we have built an amazing team of professionally trained photographers and artists, and have taken the time to really listen to what clients are asking for, dreaming of, and how they are utilizing their images outside of the studio.

As a result, I decided it was time to redefine our roots and focus on what’s happening locally to create a truly unique and personalized photography experience for Main Line families. And so, Ivory Tree Portraits was born. It’s named for the pure light we use in our photography and for the family tree, the roots of a family, the tree of life, majestic and intertwined. Just like mothers and daughters, fathers and sons, brothers and sisters.

Our brand new studio, located at 21 West Ave. in vibrant downtown Wayne, features the same team all of you have come to know and love — but it will also feature many new additions that we are very excited to share with both our clients and the community.

Our new studio is clean and fresh and meshes perfectly with our new name and vibe. It has three floor-to-ceiling south facing windows that flood the studio with pure, natural light — perfect for creating a natural look and feel for families. In addition to the beauty and openness the natural light provides, we will have a private dressing room, more parking options and a totally stair-free environment — new moms and moms with strollers rejoice!

We have also commissioned local artists to hand craft backdrops focusing on rustic, ethereal elements — like watercolors and eucalyptus — to create an authentic touch to our studio sessions. New product lines will focus on local architecture, including a luxe line featuring glass and metal, and an organic line featuring reclaimed wood and handcrafted pieces, both of which will enable families to chicly display their photos at home.

What’s more, all of our photography sessions will be completely personalized — from standard sessions to the new “Reverie” sessions, which are one-of-a-kind photography experiences that are fully customized and unique to each family.

At Ivory Tree, we grow with maternity, coo with newborns, smash cake with 1-year-olds, chase after toddlers, laugh with teens, love with families. We are so excited for you to come see our new studio and all that Ivory Tree Portraits has to offer you and your families.
