No matter what your kids’ ages—from babies to teens—there are Valentine’s events around the Main Line for everyone. So start making plans to celebrate love as a family—here’s where!

Valentine’s STEAM Workshop

February 4, 10:30–11:30 am

This month’s STEAM workshop is Valentine’s themed! Experiment with love potions, create an abstract Valentine, and “bake” Love Cakes. Included with admission.

Valentine’s Craft at Gladwyne Library

February 6, 4—5 pm

Kids ages 3 and up can come by and make Valentines for all their special people.

Children’s Nature Series: Nature Valentines

February 7, 1 pm

Norristown Farm Park, 2500 Upper Farm Rd., Norristown

 

Turn paper hearts into animals and make special valentines using some things from nature to enhance your creations. Learn about love in the animal kingdom between parents and their young. Pre-registration is required; for ages 3 and up.

Family Craft Night at Penn Wynne Library

Stop by the library to create Valentine’s Day cards together as a family. All supplies provided.

Tweens: Bad Valentine Art

Valentine’s Parents Night Out

February 8, 6—9 pm

Drop your kids off at BounceU and go for a Valentine’s date night! Parents Night Out is for ages 3-11 and includes pizza, drink, craft, games, and bounce time. Reservations are required.

Wayne Art Center Hosts Family Painting Night: Valentine Dreams

February 8, 7—8:30 pm

Each person will receive a canvas, paints, and paintbrushes and will be led step-by-step to paint a unique Valentine’s Day painting! Pre-register online.

Valentine Treat-Making at Tyler Arboretum

February 9, 10—11:30 am

Make a variety of sweet treats to box up and give to your Valentine. Learn how to melt chocolate for chocolate covered pretzels and strawberries. Also make mini heart-shaped pies to eat, or give to a friend. Suitable for ages 4 and up. Register online.

Valentine’s Day Crafts at Ardmore Library

February 9, 10 am—5 pm

Come make a Valentine card for a special someone. Craft materials will be available all day.

Kids’ Seed Paper Valentines

February 9, 11 am—noon

Terrain, 914 Baltimore Pike, Glen Mills

 

Kids will learn to make heart-shaped seed paper and newspaper pots for growing a Valentine gift. Reservations are required. $15 per child; no cost for accompanying adults. Cost includes instruction and materials to make one growing valentine.

Family Friendly Crafternoon Valentine’s Workshop at AR Workshop
