EVERYTHING YOU EVER NEEDED TO KNOW ABOUT KINDERGARTEN… & MORE: Main Line Parent hosts TWO Early Education Fairs in Wayne on January 26, 2013 and Wynnewood January 27, 2013
Wynnewood, Pa. (December 1, 2012) – Main Line Parent is excited to announce a community-wide education event focused on the needs of families with children age 6 and younger. Slated for the last weekend in January 2013, the Main Line Early Education Fairs aim to provide parents with an opportunity to meet the leading schools, camps, and childcare providers; explore different types of schools, educational philosophies, and special programs; find out about the admissions process and receive information about scholarships and tax credits—all within a three-hour time frame.
Along with face-to-face interaction with a variety of resources, there will be an information seminar presented by Premier Baby Concierge’s Shannon Choe on navigating the waters of Preschool 101. There will also be a “Milk & Cookie Mingle” social mixer at each of the two fairs with refreshments for families with young children to mingle with local babysitters, nannies and each other. Details can be found at mainlineparent.com.
Says Main Line Parent founder and CEO, Sarah Bond, “The Early Childhood Education Fairs are essentials for our community because they will unite families with preschools, camps and educational enrichment programs which cater to families with children age six and under. For busy parents with young children, finding the right summer enrichment programs and interviewing preschools for the fall can be an overwhelming undertaking. Our events will create a casual atmosphere where families will mingle with the local resources looking to introduce their programs and welcome them into their community.”
Whether you’re looking for a summer or fall program for your child or actively searching for the right childcare options now, this event will be essential for families of the Main Line and Philadelphia’s Western Suburbs with children 6 and under.
