What it is: Brightly colored, whimsical socks that come in sets of three for kids and five for babies — ensuring a sock lost in the laundry won’t  mean the end of your attachment to these cozy finds.

Why it’s a must: There are plenty of reasons to love these mismatched socks. They’re colorful, spunky and unique (no two pairs are exactly the same). Each set of socks features the same colors and patterns, but in a different order. Their fun, cheerful style also comes from a company with a conscience. These socks are knit and hand-finished at a small, family-owned business in Vermont using bold yarns made from recycled cotton. Did you know that sourcing cotton yarn from recycled materials reduces the amount of virgin cotton that needs to be grown and reduces landfill waste? The recycled yarns used in these socks are dyed without the use of harmful chemicals, so you can feel good about putting them on your little one’s feet. Don’t let the soft, cozy socks fool you into thinking they are too delicate to withstand everyday wear by infants, toddlers, and older kids. Go ahead and let them get dirty because the socks can be machine washed and dried. The colors will not run or fade — so they stay cheery and vibrant despite repeated trips through the laundry. They will shrink slightly during their first wash, but are knit slightly larger with that in mind. We also love that these socks come with “spares” just in case a sock goes missing in the laundry, at daycare, during camp, etc. Infant socks are sold as a set of five and kid sizes are sold as a set of three. And if you’€™re still a kid at heart, these socks also come in adult sizes.
