If you know a girl, you know American Girl. The line of dolls that celebrates the special stories of girls all over the world and through time is cherished by children, and has grown to include an impressive line-up of clothing and accessories that help doll owners recreate their Girl’s lifestyle. Our daughters are often clamoring for the latest releases, and the Junior League of Philadelphia has the best way for you to see them first-hand.
The American Girl Fashion Show, March 2 and 3, 2013, at The Desmond Hotel and Conference Center in Malvern, showcases about 200 very excited local girls and their dolls sporting the line’s historical and contemporary fashions. Find adorable sleep sets and rustic outwears that might have been worn by the collection’s most popular Girls, including Kaya, Caroline,
Josefina, Marie-Grace and Cecile, Addy, Rebecca, Kit, Molly, and Julie. Contemporary Girl of the Year and My American Girl outfits for girls ages 8 and older and sweet Little Girl fashions complete the program.
Proceeds from the show will benefit Apple a DayTM, the Junior League’s multi-tiered community initiative that helps positively impact the health and wellness of children in the Greater Philadelphia area.
The fashion show also includes a plated lunch, dessert, party favors, a raffle, and door prizes. Tickets are $55 per person, and $65 per person for VIP seating. There are four shows total, with 11 am and 2 pm shows on both March 2 and March 3.
Join the Junior League in making a difference while spending a sweet afternoon with the special girl in your life.
