This Sunday, October 21, is our Main Line Private & Independent School Expo — your chance to meet and greet with representatives from an impressive list of area schools in one afternoon. Plus attend seminars that will help you decide what style of school is the best fit for your child, how to handle entrance exams, and the always important issue of financial planning.
This week also saw the release of our latest print magazine of Main Line Parent. You may have seen a copy at Clover Market or one of our favorite area businesses. They will be in full supply at the expo, as well!
But good things come in threes, right? So we will be giving away a brand-new iPad 3 to one of the families that joins us at the expo. Simply pre-register for the event (scroll down to the bottom of the page and use the EventBrite form) and check-in at the registration table upon your arrival on Sunday, and you are entered. (You can also tweet about our event using the #MainLineSchools hashtag OR Comment on this post below to enter!)
We will announce the randomly selected winner on Tuesday, October 23. No purchase necessary to enter to win.

1. PROMOTION PERIOD. Promotion begins on announced time EST (“Promotion Period”). All entries must be received by the announced time (EST) to be eligible for that day’s drawing.
2. HOW TO ENTER: To enter, participants can do one (1) or all of the following as specified on the Sponsor’s post:o Post a comment to the website post responding to the iPad3 giveaway post.
o Send a message on Twitter.com (“Tweet”) to the Sponsor’s twitter handle using the hashtag #mainlineschools
o Pre-register for an check-in at the Main Line Private School Expo on October 21, 2012.
Entrants may not participate with multiple e-mail addresses. Any entrant who attempts to enter with multiple e-mail addresses, under multiple identities or uses any other device will be disqualified from participation in the promotion and all entries submitted by that entrant will be void.
2. ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate.
3. WINNER SELECTION: The sole winner will be drawn from all entries received during the announced Promotional Period using a randomized computer numerical system, random.org from among all eligible entries received during the Giveaway. Winners will be either emailed directly or publicly announced on the , Twitter or Facebook page.
4. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND RESPONSE: The selected winner will be contacted via email at the conclusion of the Promotional Period. A response is required within 72 hours. If no response is received in that time the selected winner will forfeit their prize and another winner will be selected at random from the list of eligible participants and notified. Subsequently selected winners will also have a 72 hours period to respond.
5. PRIZE APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE: Giveaway Prize: Apple Store Gift Certificate for $499. Total ARV: $499.
6. TAXES. All federal, state and/or local income and other taxes, if any, are the winner’s sole responsibility.
7. ODDS OF WINNING. The odds of winning this Promotion depend on the number of eligible entries received.
8. Winner(s) will be announced on Facebook (facebook.com/mlparent) and Twitter (twitter.com/mainlineparent).

We have a son in Pre-K at St. David’s Nursery School and live in Radnor. Trying to decide if we should go the private route. I would love to teach him to read via the iPad, hence I would like to enter your contest to win one!
