My sister in law is expecting this spring- this would make a great shower gift for her. My advice to new moms- find a great mommy support group to get you through those first tough months (years!).
Connecting with other women is so important and will really help make it through. Just wait! A miracle is around the corner….
Im expecting my second and my advise is, listen to other but follow your instincts, they’re usually right.
I’m due in August – this sounds like a lot of fun!
My advice is to get lots of rest and talk to other moms for great tips and suggestions!
Looks like a great event, great webstite and great prizes for expectant moms!!
Cherish everyday because they grow up way to fast.
My advice would be to let others do things for you. If someone offers help- take them up on it!
I would love to win this breast pump because I plan on breastfeeding exclusively. My advice… follow your instincts and join mommy groups run through local organizations or hospitals. They have a breastfeeding group and it is a wonderful resource and offers advice/support for new moms and breastfeeding.
Try to avoid rocking baby to sleep. As wonderful as it is, it becomes a habit so fast. Once in a while is no big deal, but don’t make it part of baby’s routine. They need to learn how to fall asleep on their own. It helps make for a better sleeper.
The most precious thing that you can ever have, the best thing you can ever say that you made and the most cherished times you will ever have, are upon you (and me), make the most of each moment, each wink, each hiccup, each grin…embed the moments into your brain and keep them with you forever. Take each moment and enjoy it ‘within each moment’.
I’m due April 24 with my second child! My advice is to always show support to other mothers because it is one of the toughest jobs in the world but the most rewarding
Don’t worry too much! If you worry too much you won’t be able to just enjoy being a mom! Love that little one with all your heart!
Get involved with a mothers excersize group where you can bring baby and work out!
My advise would be to spend as much time with your partner as you can before the bundle of joy arrives!!
everything is going to be fine! don’t worry!
My advice to new expectant moms is don’t be nervous , it will all come naturally once baby is here. Enjoy a happy calm pregnancy. Pamper yourself and get rest especially when your body is telling you it needs it!
The best advice I can give to a first-time expectant mom is to NOT expect too much. Give yourself some slack, about a year’s worth, and you will look back and be so proud of all that you’ve learned and how well your babe is doing. God Bless all the expectant moms to-be out there!
My advice would be to read, research, and become educated on babies and parenting, but when your baby comes use your mommy instincts. You have to do what’s best for you and your baby, and some of the stuff in the books just doesn’t work for everyone
My advice would be to set aside at least a few minutes each day to appreciate your body and its ability to nurture the growing baby inside of you.
So glad I found out about this! I’m only 11 weeks with our third child, but new to the area and excited to find out more about what this area has to offer expectant moms this Thursday night! My advice to new moms is to just take it one day at a time…
Breasting feeding will be a challenge. You will want to give into the simplicity of formula but don’t give up. The rewards of breasting feeding your child are much greater. It brings you closer to you baby in no other way. Just seeing your baby’s smile when he looks up at you will make it all worth while. If you are returning to work, invest in a good breast pump. If you don’t have the means of purchasing one, programs like WIC issue one to all mothers that choose to breastfeed or you can ask your insurance company about reimbursements.
Pregnant with #2 and a Freestyle was going to be my splurge! My advice is to do what you have to do – don’t worry about what others think or what might “ruin” your baby, you know best!
There is no how to do it book. Each of us write our own the best way we know how. Motherhood is the best thing that EVER HAPPEN to me.
Get your sleep now and take the opportunity to sleep when your newborn does. It will help you stay rested and you won’t feel so out of touch with the world.
